7/26; Custer, SD, evening.

Evening, 7/26, 8:44 pm MDT.
What a difference a day's travel makes! We are "camping" in comfort at the Custer SD KOA. After a shower (wow!) the temperature is dropping through the sixties (rapidly) and the dew point is 27•F. It's actually going to be cold tonight!
Today we ventured up this way, taking in the sights and stopping at carhenge (fun!) and Toadstool geologic park. Kind of like a cross between Monument Rocks, Clayton, NM, and maybe a paleo human site like Mesa Verde. Side note: six minutes later and the air is cooling so rapidly it's almost scary. Thinking about turning in to stay warm!
